Welcome to Four in a Row Games

Four in a Row is a classic two-player strategy game where the goal is to be the first to connect four of your pieces in a row—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally—on a 7×6 grid. Players take turns dropping their pieces into columns, where they fall to the lowest empty spot.

The game has a rich history, originally known as Captain’s Mistress in the 18th century. Legend has it that Captain James Cook was so fond of the game that he played it during his long voyages, giving it its early name. Today, many people know it as Connect 4, a name popularized by Milton Bradley when they released it in 1974.
